Actress Lynn Redgrave dies

The actress Lynn Redgrave has died. She was 67.

The star of stage and screen had been suffering from breast cancer and passed away in Connecticut.

She was a member of the Redgrave acting dynasty. Her father was Sir Michael Redgrave and her mother was Rachel Kempson.

Her brother Corin died last month while her niece Natasha Richardson, who was married to Liam Neeson, died last year following a skiing accident.

Lynn Redgrave was nominated for two Oscars, Best Actress for Georgy Girl (1967) and Best Supporting Actress for Gods and Monsters (1999).

She was first treated for breast cancer in 2003.
