American comedian Bill Cosby has called for an end to internet rumours which have resulted in reports of his death being circulated on four occasions in recent months.
The latest rumours were circulated this week forcing him to issue a statement to reassure friends and members of his own family.
Mr. Cosby, who is 73, has asked for the people responsible for starting the rumours to stop.
He revealed his daughter was among the many people who had called his home after hearing the rumours.
Mr. Cosby said the people responsible do not appear to see how upsetting it is.
