A company in England has started making coffins from recycled newspapers.
Sunset Coffins, which is based in Gloucestershire, was set-up after a local funeral director had the idea of producing the coffins.
Jeremy Clutterbuck had discovered that a papermill in the area was producing a strong board from recycled newspapers. He contacted the company and then brought in a design company to work on the project.
The result is a range of coffins (see below for link to the company) which are bio-degradable.
It takes around 70 tabloid newspapers to make one coffin.
The coffins can carry up to 30 stones. A larger and stronger version is also available.
