Communities in part of County Donegal have been plunged into mourning after eight men died in a road accident.
The two-car collision happened on a road between Buncrana and Clonmany.
Seven young men were travelling in one of the vehicles. Their ages ranged from 19 to 23. The driver of the car survived the crash but remains in a critical condition.
The eighth victim, who was aged 66, was driving alone in the second vehicle.
The victims came from the local communities of Clonmany, Fahan, Ballyliffin, Burnfoot and Buncrana.
A Priest in Clonmany said the community had been overwhelmed by a sense of loss.
