Tributes have been paid to Stuart Cable, the former drummer with the Stereophonics, who has been found dead. He was 40.
Mr. Cable’s body was found at his home in Aberdare in Wales. Police have said there were no suspicious circumstances.
The musician was a founder-member of the Stereophonics, but left the group six years ago.
The group had played at a massive home-coming concert in Cardiff last Saturday (May 5).
Mr. Cable was due to appear at the Download rock festival at Donington Park next weekend with his current band Killing For Company.
The father-of-two was also a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio Wales.
Many tributes have been paid to the musician, among them was one from Mike Peters, lead singer with The Alarm, who said: “He was always smiling and laughing and great to be around. Stuart had lots of energy and couldn’t wait for the next day to come around”.
