Funeral takes place of local musician

The Funeral has taken place of local musician Darryll Kyle who drowned at the weekend.

Mr. Kyle, who was 30, came from the Parkhall area of Antrim.

He drowned in the Murlough Bay area where he had been on a camping trip with friends.

Mr. Kyle was a percussionist whose style was heavily influenced by Lat in American and West African drumming.

Many tributes have been paid to him by fellow musicians.

His Funeral was held this morning with Requiem Mass at St. Comgall’s Church in Antrim and interment to follow in Belmont Cemetery.
