The Northern Ireland Hospice and the Southern Area Hospice have both launched fund-raising initiatives for Christmas.
The organisations are both offering people the opportunity to dedicate a light on their Christmas trees to a relative or loved one who has passed away.
It is hoped the efforts will help boost donations to both groups.
The Southern Area Hospice is calling its campaign Light Up A Life.
To obtain details of how you can support the initiative you can contact the fund-raising department on 028 3025 1333.
The Northern Ireland Hospice campaign is called Christmas Lights To Remember Appeal.
