An investigation has been launched following the death of former child star Corey Haim. He was 38.
Haim had been found unconscious at his home in Southern California. He was rushed to a medical centre in Burbank, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The local coroner’s office said an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
The Canadian-born actor became a teenage heartthrob after appearing in the 1986 film, Lucas, then in the following year alongside Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys.
In recent years he had appeared in a reality TV show in the US, but this was cancelled in 2008.
Haim had battled a drug problem in the past.
