Joyriders damage graves in West Belfast

Joyriders have damaged a number of headstones at a graveyard in West Belfast.

The incident happened at Milltown Cemetery.

Police say a red Ford Fiesta was taken from outside college premises on the Falls Road between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

The vehicle was then found abandoned inside the cemetery.

A number of headstones close to the Bog Meadows end of the cemetery were damaged in the incident.

The PSNI have appealed for help in finding those responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
