Young motorcyclist dies in County Antrim accident

A young motorcyclist has died in a road accident in County Antrim.

Police say the 16-year-old died following the crash on the Castle Road, Antrim.

The tragedy happened at around 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday (October 27) at the junction with Milltown Road.

The victim has been named as Shane Louis Magill, who lived in the Randalstown area.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.
