Death Notice for Alan Marr
Alan Marr, former British Merchant Navy engineer, entrepreneur and motor racing promoter, passed away on June 25 at Wood Lodge Nursing Home, Castlewellan. Dearly beloved husband of the late Olive Kathleen (formerly of Foxrock, Dublin), and father of Kim Jennifer and the late Gillian Lee. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday (July 1) at 2 p.m. in Killyleagh Parish Church (for directions, see right). Interment to follow in the adjoining Churchyard. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family, friends and the speedway and motor racing fraternity.
