Death Notice for Annie Cookson
Annie Philomena Cookson (née Sands), late of the Lurganare Cross area of Jerrettspass, passed away on April 27 in her 95th. year. Dearly beloved mother of John, Jimmy and Ann, mother-in-law of Mary, Pat and the late Bridie, and loving twin sister of Kathleen McVeigh and the late mary Mary McVeigh, John Sands and Hannah Trainor. May she Rest In Peace. The Funeral will leave her late residence on Thursday (April 29) at 11.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Barr (see right). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. St. Padre Pio pray for her.
