Death Notice for Desmond Canavan
Desmond Canavan, formerly of Chapel Street and Dominic Street, Newry, passed away on October 17 at Ardmaine Nursing Home. R.I.P. Loving brother of Noel, Jim and the late Sean. His remains are reposing at McGennity’s Funeral Home, Newry (for directions, see right) on Friday (October 18) from 2 p.m. until removal at 5.30 p.m. to St. Mary’s Church, Newry (for directions, see right), arriving at 6 p.m. approximately. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday (October 19) at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made (for details, see right). On his soul Sweet Jesus have mercy.
