Death Notice for Joan McGookin
Joan Alexander McGookin (née Girvan), late of Larne, passed away on September 16, aged 91 years. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Girvan, sister of the late Freida, Irene, Isobel and Aubrey, dearly-loved aunt of Wendy, Christine and David, and John and Hugh, Pauline, Patricia, Carol and the late Jennifer. A short Service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place on Tuesday (September 20) at 2.30 p.m. at Roselawn Crematorium (for directions, see right). No flowers, letters or cards please by request. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made (for details, see right). Will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and their families.
