Death Notice for John McGinley
John (Big John) McGinley, late of Derry, passed away peacefully on May 13, at Foyle Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Irene, loving father of Ann, Michael, Siobhan, Raymond, Sarah, Daniel and the late Sean, dear brother of Rachel, Michael and the late Paddy, and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. The Funeral will leave his home on Friday (May 15) at 9.20 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock in St. Eugene's Cathedral, Derry (for directions, see right). Interment to follow in The City Cemetery, Derry (for directions, see right). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
