Death Notice for Michael McCafferty
Michael McCafferty, late of the Bishop Street area of Derry and formerly of Grafton Street, passed away suddenly on December 6. Husband of Eithne, loving father of Paul, Colette, Nuala, Patricia. Michael and Martin, a dear and loving grandfather, beloved son of the late Donal and Jeannie, dear brother of Patricia, Evelyn, Donal and the late Eilish, and father-in-law of Cindy, Kevin, Cathal and Kathleen. The Funeral will leave his daughter Colette’s home on Friday (December 9) at 9.20 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock in St. Eugene's Cathedral, Derry (for directions, see right). Interment to follow in The City Cemetery, Derry (for directions, see right). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made (for details, see right). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
