Death Notice for Sir Allen McClay
Sir Allen McClay — it is with the deepest regret that the Board of Directors marks the passing of the esteemed chairman of the Almac Group. Allen passed away peacefully in the afternoon of 12th. January 2010 in Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, U.S.A. after a short illness. Allen was not only the Founder and Chairman of Almac, but also a colleague and friend to so many. His vision and his leadership were inspirational and he will be sadly missed by the Board, Management and Staff of Almac. Sincerest sympathy to his wife Heather and the wider family circle. House private. Cremation being held to the U.S. with Service of Remembrance arrangements to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested (see right).
