Death Notice for Alex Withers
Alex Withers, late of the Royal Lodge Avenue area of Belfast, passed away on July 6. Much loved husband of Geraldine, loving daddy of Leanne, Paul, Sarah and Luke, grandfather of Ethan, Karl and Nicole. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday (July 8) at 10 a.m. in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Belfast (see right), then to Roselawn Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested (see right).

My memories of Alex are the early days in the Belfast Fire Brigade. I was in the next intake of the Junior Fireman scheme after Alex. Working with Alex in the Brigade and painting and decorating in the days off were all good times. I have no doubt Alex will be sorley missed. My sincere condolences, Skippy
