Bridget (Bernadette) Slane, late of the Crockanboy Road area of Greencastle, passed away on February 1. R.I.P.  Beloved wife of the late Anthony and loving mother of Vincent, Gabriel, Mary, Benedict, Finbarr, Stephen and Carmel, dear sister of Kathleen, Josephine and May. Her remains are reposing at her daughter Mary’s residence (Maryville Park, Greencastle).The Funeral will leave here on Friday (February 4) for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Greencastle (see right). Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
