Death Notice for Bridie Banks
Bridie Banks (née Byrne), late of the Slievegullion Road area of Newry and formerly of Carn Road, Meigh, passed away on July 1. Beloved wife of the late Eddie and loving mother of Monica and Majella. Her remains will be removed from McGennity’s Funeral Home (see right) at 2 p.m. on Friday (July 2) to her daughter Majella Lavelle’s home (Lurgan Road, Silverbridge). Removal on Sunday (July 4) at 12.45 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 1.30 p.m. in St. Catherine’s Church, Newry (see right). Burial afterwards in Monkshill Cemetery. On her soul Sweet Jesus have mercy. Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested (see right).
