Death Notice for Brigid Doherty
Brigid Doherty (née Kearney), The Holy Shop, Strand Bingo, late of Drung, Quigley’s Point, Co. Donegal and formerly of Prehen, Derry, passed away on June 9. Dearly loved wife of Tommy and loving mother of Anne, Fiona and Dr. John T., Kevin, Donal and Conal. Deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Joanne, Dympna and Ruth, sons-in-law Damien and Shaun, sisters Anna (Donnelly) and Margaret (O’Hagan), brothers Canon John (Warrenpoint) and Kevin, and her loving grandchildren. The Funeral will leave her late residence on Saturday (June 11) at 11.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Columba’s Church, Drung (see right). Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
