Death Notice for George Ivan Sterritt
George Ivan Sterritt, M.B.E., Ex R.U.C. (G.C.), U.S.C., late of the Bangor Road area of Newtownards, passed away peacefully on November 27 in the I.C.U., Royal Victoria Hospital. Beloved husband of Jo, devoted father of Murray, Elaine, Richard, David and the late George Ivan (Jnr.), father-in-law of Sally, Paul, Marion and Zandi, and devoted karkin to Richard, Joanne, Alexandra, Ashley, Richard, Rebecca and Alice. A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday (November 30) at 12 noon at Roselawn Crematorium (see right). A Service of Thanksgiving will then take place at 3 p.m. in St. Mark’s Parish Church, Newtownards (see right). House strictly private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested (see right). Very deeply regretted by the entire Family Circle.
