Death Notice for Irene Abernethy
Irene Elaine Abernethy (née Loughlin), passed away peacefully on March 11. Cherished wife of James and beloved mother of Gary, Linzi and Chelsey, and doting nanny of Kayson and Noah, dear sister of John and Jackie, and loving aunt of Anne-Louise. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday (March 15) at 1 p.m. in Greenwell Street Presbyterian Church, Newtownards (for directions, see right). Committal to follow in Movilla Cemetery, Newtownards (for directions, see right). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made (for details, see right). She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, brothers and niece. God called your name so softly that only you could hear, and no one heart the footsteps of the Angels drawing near. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you Home.
