Death Notice for James Wilson
James E. (Jim) Wilson, Belfast Artist, passed away on October 22 in his adopted home in Arizona, U.S.A., at the age of 91. Loved and missed by Marion. James, who trained at Belfast College of Art in the 1940s, had his work (see below) featured in the famous Smithsonian Institute and other American museums. He emigrated to the United States in 1954 but his heart was always in Belfast. He visited in 2001 and toured the North Coast, producing beautiful paintings of ancestral habitats.
