Margaret Mary (Rita) Hood (née Purcell), late of the Mill Road area of Newtownabbey, passed away on May 16. R.I.P.  Wife of the late Billy. Her remains will be received into St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Newtownabbey (see right) on Thursday (May 24) at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be held on Friday (May 25) at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in Carnmoney Cemetery East (see right).
