Death Notice for Margaret Scanlon
Margaret (Rita) Scanlon, late of the Upper Catherine Street area of Newry, passed away on September 21. R.I.P. Beloved wife of the late Charles and loving mother of Jack, Terry and Gillian. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Her remains will repose in Digney’s Funeral Home (Sugar House Quay). Removal will take place Thursday (September 23) for the Funeral Mass at 10.30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s & St. Colman’s Cathedral, Newry (see right). Interment to follow in Monkshill Cemetery.
