Death Notice for Mary Jo Rooney
Mary Jo Rooney (née Cunningham), late of the Ballagh Road area of Newcastle, passed away on November 16. Dearly beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of John, Gerard, James and Paul, and loving sister of Lily (Devlin), Seamus, Peter and Michael. R.I.P. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Her remains will leave her late residence on Friday (November 19) at 9 a.m. for Mass at 10 o’clock in The Church of Our Lady of The Assumption, Newcastle (see right). Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Old Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Knock intercede for her.
