Death Notice for Monica Hughes
Monica Hughes (née Morelli), late of the Shaw’s Road area of Belfast, passed away on March 17. Beloved wife of the late Peter, much loved mother of Gerard and Maria, devoted grandmother of Peter, Maire and Sean, mother-in-law of Nancy and sister of Tony. R.I.P. Her remains will leave her daughter’s home [Corrib Avenue] on Wednesday (March 21) at 9.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Belfast (see right). Interment to follow in Our Lady’s Cemetery, Hannahstown (see right). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
