Death Notice for William Davis
William James (Billy) Davis, late of Londonderry, passed away on February 23 at Daleview Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father of Stephen and Timothy, dear father-in-law of Mary, devoted grandfather of Peter, Isaiah and Elizabeth. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday (February 27) at 2 p.m. in Faughan Reformed Presbyterian Church, Drumahoe (for directions, see right). Interment to follow in Ballyoan Cemetery, Londonderry (for directions, see right). House private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made (for details, see right).

Uncle Billy, my mother's brother, lived with us during my brother and my early years. Our father was a Radio Officer in the MN and away for long periods of time. Uncle Billy was the father figure during those times. He was generous of nature, kind and loving and we feel as if we had three parents in our life and therefore very lucky. He was a leading figure in the Reformed Presbyterian Church and held strong Christian values. He will always be greatly loved and now sadly missed.
